ECHO regularly collects food, personal hygiene items and medicines, housewares, and clothing for distribution to our clients.  If you are interested in running a collection drive, please visit How to Hold a Donation Drive.

• Food: We accept and use all non-perishable food items. Please do not collect perishables without consulting with us first, as storage for perishables is extremely limited. If possible, please place all food items in doubled paper grocery bags or small (copier paper) sized boxes. Boxes and bags should not exceed 40 pounds.
• Housewares:
  • All linens and towels must be new or like new with no tears, dirty spots, frayed ends or worn spots. Please launder used linens before delivery and mark with the size. We always need queen or king sized sheets, blankets and comforters.
  • We always need tableware (flatware, plates, bowls, cups and glasses) and cookware (pots, pans, bowls, and serving/cooking utensils). We also accept small appliances such as microwave ovens and blenders. All items must be clean and in working order.
• Clothing: All clothing items must be in current style, clean, not torn or otherwise worn (including working zippers, buttons and snaps). We accept only NEW underwear and socks. We need both adult and children sizes.
